Anyone use one? Looking to buy one, of decent weight and preferably U.K. manufactured if possible. Any recommendations?
Good idea going for a decently weighted one, I've got this and it's not exactly great:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Weber-6483-Burger-Press-S...

Burger press seems to mean two things here, hence adding the extremely well penned description of steak weight thingy. I also want to be able to use it for getting bacon flat to the pan to speed up added crispiness.normalbloke said:

Apologies for the harsh rating, so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you’re either trolling or cannot read! I described that I was looking for the steak weight type of burger press ( ie not for making burgers), something of a decent weight, and preferably U.K. made. You’ve managed to post a link to the incorrect type of press, something made of lightweight aluminium, and for sale in California priced in $.
It was UTH who posted a link to the incorrect type.JKRolling posted a link to this UK made Steel thingie which is what you asked for.

Blimey, this thread has got tetchy.
Buy some mince, chuck it on the ground and stamp on it. That'll do you.
