Paint protection film and or ceramic coating?

Wife is due to collect her new white M3 in a few weeks.
The wrappers suggested ceramic coating the whole car.
Then clear paint protection film to the bonnet and wings.
Does this sound good.?

Depends what you want and how much you want to spend. I had full ppf and ceramic coat on top.

Correct. Coatings after PPF to give a hydrophobic layer on top.

They should be correcting the paint to near perfect, then film the high risk areas.

Ceramic over everything then to help keep the dirt at bay and make it easier to keep clean.
