Isn't this a Merc C111. IIRC it was a development car that never made it to full production spec, ? 1970's?. Think it did some amazing speeds in testing and there was also a diesel version that did massive mpg around a test bowl track. A lovely machine and must be worth a King's Ransom, owned by Mercedes themselves I suspect.
