Question after Griff now back repainted rear lights refitted I like the clean lines without the sealer around , a discussion at the Classic car show on the club stand quite confident it would leak not totally convinced. Has rubber seal so should seal ? Opinions please

Run a hose over and see, how often do you use it in the rain anyway?

I took my lights out and polished them. When I replaced mine I used flexible sealant between the mating faces. I put nothing round the edge, so it looks like your picture.
