An 11000rpm Ultima....and ear splitting too...
Sorry folks I'm new here and a bit of a nutter.....Has anyone placed a Ferrari engine in an Ultima....Sound is very important in a car....a raw V8 can sound amazing at first, but slowly can become just noise. I saw someone posted a Judd V10 Ultima...now we are talking! Or a cosworth V8

My question is, with an SBC able to make that power at far lower revs with (I imagine) significantly more torque, why would you bother? While it would be nice for the first few hours of running it, the frequent rebuilds would be a nightmare. GMan's car is plenty fast without getting too fancy behind the firewall.

The sound of a small capacity motor always sounds VERY pleasent! Rebuilding would be a nightmare, but with a backup engine, this could be very fun! a true race car engine on the road....If the cops don't mind
