Guess I need to ask this question another way as my previous post appears to have been removed as I guess it got mistaken for an advert.

Question is, is there still an active market for used watches, but specifically for slightly different brands like Sinn and Ball.

If so, is Chrono 24 the place to use these days ?

I've been looking for a specific watch for a little while now and am of the opinion that Chrono24 offers the best idea of the market place price for almost all makes and models. It has given me a clear idea of what to expect to pay and by reading the adverts who I could trust and who might need a bit more research.

For private sales it does look like a place that is trusted and sellers should get exposure to a large number of traders who may just be looking for what they have for a specific client. If you are looking to sell watches to move onto another one you could also do deals with recognised traders you can see advertising on the site so both parties came away happy with any deal.

Chrono 24 is certainly one option.

PH has a free adverts section & http://chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/ is another option.

Most of the main watch forums have a sales section, but joining just to sell is not appreciated, so there are generally restrictions such as minimum post count + membership duration.
