Who else is at Silverstone next week (Wed 24 Aug)?
Discussion
Just a quick note to find out who else is at Silverstone with Gold Track next week?
I think there's a level 2 track-academy course on, and quite a few of the cars seem to be lined up for that.
I've managed to prise one of my clients out of his Porsche 911C4S and into our Ariel Atom (making my track day a tax deductable business expense). I'm looking forward to driving around Silverstone in a pair of aluminium ladders strapped around a K-series engine!

I don't think it appreciably stopped raining on Wednesday, so the Atom was hardly the weapon of choice, but it was great to see most of the fleet at Silverstone (M3, Elise, Cat, Atom, Exige, Clio, Spyder).
Plenty of spins and tail-sliding drama in the Atom. The worst aspect of the car definitely seemed to be the brakes which required significant stamping in the wet -- and the seat isn't easily adjustable which made the stretch just a little uncomfortable. I'd definitely like to try it again in the dry.
Thanks Stephen for helping keep us all on the track!
