My neighbour took me out in his Gallardo the other day,
crawled 10 miles into town to warm it up, turned back towards home, got to 60 limit, the beast was unleashed, what a car, taking corners that i take at 100 in my gti6 at 150, hit an indicated 190 on one straight. Unbelievable brakes, the ease at which they shaved speed off was incredible. When cornering hard you could feel all 4 wheels moving on the road, and the traction control kicking in. Awesome car, a proper supercar but also one that can be used everyday. now, how long will it take me to save 100k!? :D

190mph in the UK??? I hope you are joking. 190 on any road in this country is irresponsible IMO

...errrr....well yes,...possibly !...but hypothetically there are some very good (long and straight, newly surfaced, with excellent visibility) roads in rural Northumberland.
I had my Garmin StreetPilot III on the dash of the Murcie - and TBH I got sick of looking at it - it was ugly and wobbled around too much- I gave it to my IT manager as a gift/bribe - he set it up and found a "statistics" page on it - which showed my most recent Max Speed - 197MPH ! (Of course that was....ahem.... when I was on the racetrack/Autobahn ...ahem..recently).
I will get him to take a pic - an interesting data dump.
