£20-25k lowest depreciation and running cost car
Discussion
Porsche 944S2. Back from the days when Porsche was a low volume manufacturer and really built high quality cars that were meant to last. The S2 (unlike the Turbo) has no really trick/expensive parts (like big reds or M030 option etc). Will do high 20s mpg, will probably rise in value and cost peanuts to insure (esp if on a classic policy). Do I win a prize?

No. Mine needed a rebuild of the engine that wasn’t cheap to run. I’d say something much newer but we need more detail from the OP is it a weekend toy? Or family car?

What car realistically would have the least depreciation for the next few years, without astronomical maintenance costs (i.e not E46 m3 etc)
What does it need to do?Do you plan on actually driving it?
Because if you plan on daily driving it, then the answer is no car.
