Can anyone clarify that the following caption to the pic below is accurate please?

As provided by google lens:

"Deployment of the London Metropolitan Police
in front of the Iran International office
following threats from the Iranian government"

I'm trying to find out if the pics are faked.

Looks fake to me. The second van has a straight grey outline to it and the tree behind it would be growing through the tarmac. Chap in yellow in holding 2 wands used to direct aircraft in the dark. Chap front left looks like he's out for a stroll. There was a clash outside the Iranian Embassy back in September:

There's nothing on the 'proper' news feeds today. Do people really believe such cack?

It looks like the “Police” wording on the side of the Jankels has been enhanced a bit tbf

But otherwise they are Met vehicles and that is the location

The story is also being carried by other news outlets (including the Times)too with the same pic although the “Police” wording doesn’t look as stand out

It's on the Times: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/armed-police-gu...

I agree the photo is faked though.

Not sure who the goons in the yellow jackets are but the Met certainly has several Jankel Ford F450 armoured trucks and they have been deployed outside Iran International's offices.

Nothing? Cack? Try and actual 'proper news feed' although it's likely paywalled.

Agree it looks wrong, but tree is OK- it seems to be in a pedestrianised area. This looks like it:

Ok thanks, thought I might have been spreading propaganda elsewhere on PH without realising.

Those US-style trucks look photoshopped to me. First I thought “that isn’t Kensington Court” where the embassy is, and it looks like Chiswick Business Park where I used to work. Turns out “Iran International” are based there, so at least they got the location right.

Chiswick Park employees I think; their uniforms are mainly yellow with black.

Yes, it' a paywall so I hadn't seen that. And it's a TV station not just an 'office.'

There's nothing on the BBC or Sky news website or are they not credible... rolleyes

Photoshopped onto a Home Bargains logo, it seems to me.

It’s definitely not faked. I work in Chiswick Business Park in the office furthest away in the photo. When I left the carpark on Friday at 6pm, there were Police everywhere and I had to drive between those two Jankel trucks to get out. I had no idea what was going on and tried to find out when I got home but Google turned up nothing. I’d pretty much forgotten about it until I just stumbled across this thread.

A quick Google search: https://www.google.com/search?q=metropolitan+polic...

Shows that the vehicles are real, but they don't have "POLICE" written on them with a grey background - The "POLICE" sign goes straight onto the blue paintwork, so the signs have been photo-shopped for some reason.

OK so:

- slightly faked but not faked in the manner to entirely misrepresent the location of UK police and UK police vehicles
- serious threats made to people/journalists inside the building at which the vehicles are stationed
- threats made by members of the current Iranian regime who are now effectively considered a terrorist organisation (approx 12,500 demonstrators to be put to death by the current regime)

( re:Iran, another very recent London vid shows a non violent but vocal demonstration by Iranians in London, against the current Iranian regime, and a supporter of the regime attempting to interfere with it - he had to be rescued by police who attempted to protect him after getting hit with multiple 'missiles' at close range, and then had to run, bleeding)

One question I have is, who are the two men of middle eastern appearance in the pic but most importantly - who pays their wages?

Clothed fully in black, shaven headed, bearded, combat boots - who are they and why are they a requirement?

1 - Why are you bothered who pays the wage for someone's job? They're probably private security employed by the embassy.
2 - What does their clothing and appearance have anything to do with why they're a requirement?

- I want UK police in UK police uniforms on UK streets if there's a threat instead of a pair of paramilitary-dressed, bearded men in black who have a sinister appearance

You forgot to add: "two men of middle eastern appearance".

So basically, what you are saying is: You don't want "bearded men in black, of middle eastern appearance" on our streets? BNP member are you?

Is this one of the men you are referring to? The one dressed in jeans and brown shoes?
