I was on the lookout for a replacement Wiper Control Box for my Cerbera and found this guy who is breaking a yellow early V8 Cerbera so has quite a few parts available

As sad as it is to see another one go, if anyone needs any extra parts including trim, seats, alarm stuff, gearbox or engine then it might be worth having a look - I spoke with Steve Strange @ Douglas Valley breakers when I started fixing my Cerbera electrical issues as I bought the remaining control boxes he had from him, and he said he hadn't heard of any Cerbs being broken for many years now so this might be a good opportunity for us owners on here

BTW listings nothing to do with me and no part of this message is anything to validate the vendor laugh

Where is the Cerbera from? A lake? Every part is rusty. I'm not sure the diffuser is a genuine factory part! £750 for a used ECU that might not even work!

The parts prices are mad. £5 for some second hand door grommets for a Lotus Espirit. They are less brand new! £1,950 for used carbon blades for an Audi R8. They are available brand new for £800.

I used to own the yellow Cerbera in that advert. What a shame, it was in lovely condition when I sold it. Unfortunately, the new owner crashed not long after buying it and it looks like it has slowly been picked apart and left outside since.

Those prices are mega laughlaugh

I mean... I'll have what he's having thanks wobble

I suppose it does mean we all ought to value our complete high condition cars for more though, right? Right? silly

Yes I thought the same - rear splitter and 'racing' bonnet

Strange that if you were intending to do that you wouldn't remove the rear seats for weight and add a roll cage!

Still a very sad state to see and sorry to HH to have brought this up frown

The rear diffuser etc were never on that car, there's no way that was ever on the rear, way too low. I remember it being up for sale a while ago when it still had it's RL7s on and hadn't been left outside for a few years.

I should never have sold it really, it went forvery little compared with today's values.
Life goes on, very happy with the Tuscan now though.

I enquired about the yellow Cerb donkeys years ago, the guy wanted crazy money then and never seemed to reduce his optimism level despite years of sitting outside in the elements doing it no good. He broke up a bright green Cerb racer which is where the diffuser will have come from. Bloody shame as a Cerb racer is a very rare and cool thing, I only pray that the shell and chassis with cage ended up with someone who will start again. Lots of interesting stuff in his yard, lots of crazy asking prices. Would be a parts goldmine if he was slightly more realistic….

Oh it's the Marlborough one - didn't that pop up in the background of one of Henry Coles tv show, shed and buried, find it, fix it etc

Does it really look that rusty?
I have been seriously considering this one for a while! Although without wheels it may be a little difficult to collect.
