looking for a reasonably good quality o2 sensor /22mm removal tool , previous one you could see flexing as you tried to undo the sensor , all the ebay ones look much the same

If removing it to replace I have always just used a proper (deep) socket & cut the wire off.

Barring that a good quality spanner normally does the trick.

I use a long reach socket which I slotted myself, and also ground the outside down for clearance on a recessed bung. I suppose you can probably buy one made properly for a few £££. I used to use a box spanner but it was not really up to the torque required.

If there's space, clamp a 'jubilee' clip around the base of the slotted socket (once it's on the sensor!)... it sometimes helps.

22mm aviation ring spanner failing that I use a deep 22mm socket, if the plug won't go through the spanner then I just cut it out and use an open ended spanner to refit

Oh very clever cool

I've normally used stilsons - If it's knackered it's coming out whatever and I don't care how pretty it looks after removal

Then I'd use a 22mm ring spanner and hope I could pass it over the connector
