Need some people in the know.
Left my hand brake off my car at my old man’s lock up and the things rolled down the yard (it’s on a hill) and clattered the skip on drivers side must of had a good bit of momentum as it’s done some decent damage. Now when I start the car it starts ok but when I push accelerator it will just rev its head off uncontrolled. Have to dump it into 6th to get it to stall. Now have damaged undriveable car stuck in the yard blocking 2 spaces!
If I call my insurance tomorrow what’s the chances of them blaming me for not having the hand brake on? Car will only be worth 2800 or so id imagine. Would they pay out or do I have to just take it on the chin?

To avoid any redious technicalities.. if going through insurance I’d say I was driving it and accidentally backed into the skip.
So basically, to avoid making a genuine claim that you will be definitely be covered for, make a fraudulent one that they might reject if they discover the truth. Cracking advice there!!!!

FWD or RWD
Sounds like a driveshaft's popped out somewhere
