left a job i couldn't stand and gave my notice (which was no notice, never had before but i checked before doing it)

manager now won't sign the timesheet for that week. clearly trying to annoy me and angry about my dumping them.

ive emailed her and CC in the agency to sign the sheet nicely. please and thankyou etc

the agency then emails me back saying she is disputing the timesheet.

very predictable. the reason i left. rude. ignorant. bully.

i DID work the hours i submitted. the agency has said leave it with them and theyll contact me. heard nothing for a while and as its there relationship they wont be on my side

where do i stand please?

Does the place you worked at have CCTV? If so, request a copy using the data rules which might prompt them to pay up.

Who was responsible for the pay, company or agency (who paid you?)

You’ve tried the friendly approach, request the CCTV/download your phone location data and write a letter before action giving whoever actually pays you 14 days to do so. CC the other party so that they’re aware. If it then gets to it submit a small claims action to recover the money.

I had this before, I turned up with paperwork in hand and he signed it, wouldn't even look me in the eye while doing it.

Email to clients HR politely asking for them to get the timesheet signed.

if the manager is a knobhead there won't be much that HR can make him do. All he needs to say is that Op didn't do the hours he's claiming.

Ask them how many hours they are willing to sign for.

If they are arguing about the afternoon you spent resigning instead of working, then it might be as well to compromise on that.

If you genuinely 'produced' actual work to the required standard you should get paid for it, but they don't always have to pay you for just turning up and being there.

good thing is to not bother signing it she must be super mad as i left them, well deserved after how she spoke to me and treated me

a few favourites

- what do you want holiday ? it was advertised as a short term contract
- why do you eat and drink so much?
- why do you go toilet so much, are you actually doing work
- need you in early this monday. we got work to do (then doesnt turn up , this happened twice) - sorry son was ill

absolute C&*&

agency keep replying saying theyll get back to me and never do. as usual they stick with the client and never the worker

are there any laws on signing up emails to spam and junk mail? petty but shell know its me and thatll make me happier
