X5 E70 vs 520d F11 – rear seat and boot size?

New baby has prompted me to consider chopping in my F11 for an X5 7-seater.

Has anyone got any direct experience of real-world differences in rear seat width and boot size? The X5 must have a wider centre seat in the second row to make the new purchase worth it. I've also read the boot is shorter... but by how much?

Any answers much appreciated.

If it helps, we have an E70 X5 and once had a f10 5 series as a courtesy car. Seemed like a very similar size of rear bench.

Our x5 is 10 years old now, faultless through 100k miles, absolutely great family car although it gets through tyres pretty fast.
