What does the sport button do on a 987 manual?

On a PDK I'm guessing it would make a huge difference to the gearbox, but what about on a manual? More aggressive throttle response?

Does it do anything else? I'm struggling to think of what other changes it could make to the setup on a car that also has PASM. I doubt it would change the exhaust because that is what the PSE option is for.

I know it's a different car, but on my dearly departed mum's Jazz auto, putting it in s just made it hold onto revs more before upshifting. It didn't go any faster, just made more noiseq and used more petrol .

It sharpens the throttle map on my Spyder. Nothing else as far as I am aware.

Throttle response and slackens off PSM to allow more slip angle before it intervenes.

Activates PASM
Allows more slip in PSM
Opens exhaust flaps.

Activates PASM - no - it is always on or activated - it just switches to the more aggressive and harder sport mode.
