Polo (2000) horn not working

Hi. My horn stopped working…horn works ok with direct feed from battery and fuse ok. When I press horn on steering wheel I can hear a click as contacts make somewhere in the dash. If I remove fuse no click so I’ve assumed the horn push and circuit to fuse board is healthy. Does anyone know if this car has a relay in the horn circuit? My Hanyes manual has a basic wiring diagram but shows little detail . Just hoping it’s not a wiring fault and possibly a relay fault. Regards I.

I would assume the "click" you refer to hearing from the dash when you press the horn button is a relay operating therefore I would say yes there is a relay in the circuit. I would guess its located under the dash in the driver's footwell.
