X150 XKR odd main beam controls

OK, I am confused. 2011 XKR, adaptive headlamps but no auto high beams. Driving at night, headlamps auto on, pull the main beam and it stays on, sometimes. Push it to latch on, that works, pull to turn off again and it either takes a good few seconds or can’t be bothered and I monad to turn them on and off again.

Any ideas?

I suspect the Adaptive Front Lighting System Module is at fault , its certainly worth having it scanned to see what if any faults are stored .

Good call, thanks. I had it inspected before I bought it and there were no active codes, but will pull them with my scanner and see.
