Streamlined online buying - which provider?
Discussion
This is for a wordpress based ecommerce site, running a woocommerce enabled Elementor based theme.
(disclaimer - as a customer I don't use google pay or apply pay so I might be a bit unfamiliar)
I'm imagining a customer visits a simple site and chooses to buy a product.
They select the quantity, tap on 'buy' and then they're given options of how to pay - Google Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal or credit cards.
When they make the choice, there's no requirement to create an account, the payment is handled by the provider dependent, presumably, on how the customer has their accounts linked/handled by the payment provider.
Which provider would enable this, Stripe? Woopay? I'm looking to integrate this into a new site and I'd like it to be easy and safe for the customer.
Any recommendations please?

Thanks but I'm not on that platform.
I know, it was just for comment that it is usually bundled in within which ever ecommerce platform you use. Hence the follow on about finding a cart / shopping / ecommerce bolt on for your current plateform.

I used Stripe. Never had a problem with them. Very easy to use and integrate!!
Yep, checking that out at the minute - I'm trying to find out what the process is that the customer has to go through, looking for something as quick as possible for them, without them having to deal with account set up etc. How are you finding that side of things?ReverendCounter said:

Bit of PITA but obviously it can be done - for instance, didn't realise Stripe was basically 'external' to woocommerce/woopay, I was looking for a plugin inside WP dashboard.
As far as I recall I've needed the following and therefore log in details - even for a simple ecommerce site:
hosting package for domain+webspace - log in
wordpress admin - log in
paypal account - log in
woocommerce/woopay account
stripe - log in
...and could be described as optional but seem to be important enough to be a requirement:
jetpack - log in
monster insights - log in
I wouldn't like to guess at what a complex site needs...

Stripe works well for Woocommerce. Got it installed on 50 or so ecommerce sites and not had a problem with the plug in or with Stripe admin Apple Pay just needs to be selected and it just works.
Let me know if you need any pointers.
That's good to know, thanks (think I'll need one or two).Let me know if you need any pointers.
