Just thought i'd let you know how I got on at North Wealds 0-60 run what ya brung.
A bit dissapointed really, but it was my first attempt.
Run 1... The lights go green, and i get too excited, dump the clutch too much revs and before I know it the rev limiter is bleeping away (I'm so glad it works, never heard it before) up into second and i'm still spinning the wheels :yikes: not a good start.
Run 2... Foock it where's me bloody ticket gone, all panic sets in 'cos i think i lost my tickets, aah found them in time... Lights go green, low revs take it easy, gently does it, doing about 30mph 4k revs now nail it, the bugger starts spinning again, this is not good, I thought there'd be more grip than this. A better run than the last time.
Run 3... very similar to the last but without the panic of lost tickets. Took it easy at the start then nail it and it starts spinning again. By now i'm really regretting taking out my pair of 10" subs and amp from the boot, maybe the extra weight would have helped after all? Not as good a run as the last but not far off.
Now for the times,
Run 1 = 6.23 Run 2 = 5.15 Run 3 =5.23
I went back to pay for some more runs but it started raining, gutted, I'm sure I would have got it into the 4's.
Good to see a fellow P.header Lee M :)

I guess doing a drag is different that normal road driving due to excess adrenalin etc, but I don't really struggle with half the problems some cars do with traction. I find the Cerbera pedal to be very long and you have access to a lot of pecentages of power. I know if I stuck my foot to the floor imediately after selecting 1st or second ( or sometimes 3rd) I would get massive spin but there is just so much control with the right pedal and the car is very good on feedback I find it difficult to light up the rears (unless I am trying).
I used to get 6.5's in my standard Punto GT Turbo...and this car is in a different league!

judging by the amount of wheelspin and the cautious start I had, i'm sure that if I can better both, a 4.5 second run shouldn't be much of a problem.
Does anyone know if you get told your 0-60 times whilst doing a FULL 1/4mile drag at the Pod?
I'm getting addicted to this, I wanna do low 4sec run!!

At the POD you will get the following:
RT
60 ft et,
330 ft et,
660 ft et,
660 ft mph,
1000 ft et,
1320 ft et,
1320 ft mph
Not 0-60 I'm afraid.. the only way you're going to get that is with some calibrated equipment...

Was this at Donny South? Saw 2 Cerbs there.
Wouldn't worry, first times always make you nervous.
Last year the best I could manage was a 8.12 in my 306 Rallye. However, I did have boot full of tools, models kit and a full tank of gas. Also forgot to let my tyres down! This year in teh pouring rain I managed an 8.28!!! Tyres down at 25psi and the car empty. No nerves either as I knew the drill.

I did it in my car last weekend and managed a 13.1, and a 0-60ft time of 1.840 secs. Would have got in the 12's if i didnt have clutch slipping probs off the line!
