Got a decent budget of up to c£130k, trading out of a 2015 V12S Vantage + piggy bank.

Had a Gen 2 997 Carrera 2S which was a bit bland if i am honest.
Got an old 987 Boxster 3.4S as a station car which i love, but it was cheap as chips…..

Suggestions? 997 / 991 Turbo (S)? 997/991 GT3? No chance of an RS?

Or left field gt4 Cayman or 4.0 Cayman or Boxster GTS?

Sure this has been done to death nu all views welcomed…

Looking for fast road car, already have a track car smile

991.2 GT3. Get one whilst you can drive a great deal. Make some cheeky offers and see where you get!

I sold my 991.2 C2S and traded up to a 991.2 GT3 last year. It's one hell of a fast road car if that's what you're looking for. Sure, it's great on track but I could not believe how fast I could safely travel on late-night B-roads in the Brecons. It's fabulous at a 7/10ths schlep as it is at 9000rpm. It's just so capable.
Buy one. The end.

Having been in similar position, I’m now falling deeply in love with the 991.1 gt3 I bought a few months ago.

It’s used for road trips, track days and Sunday mornings so comfort seats, steels and PS4s seem to be the right recipe for me.

Wouldn’t think twice to hop in it and drive across the country to north wales tomorrow. The 997 I had before would ask for a little more commitment from the same journey.

PDK only though and I admit there are moments where I miss a manual, so that may not be right for you.
