Differences in Diff and Gearbox

Hi guys,

a guy here in Germany offers Gearbox and Diff from a 2000 Tuscan 4.0. I would be interested but the question is: Are there differences to the same parts used in a 1998 AJP4.5? Different ratios probably?

The Tuscan gearbox has a different tail section to the Cerbera V8 box. Ratios are the same unless it's a close ratio box from an 'S'. The diff will likely be 3.73 ratio vs 3.45 for the V8 Cerbera. It'll fit just fine and you'll have faster acceleration but be doing higher RPM for the same speed vs a 3.45 so worse fuel economy and more noise on the autobahns.
