Surprised to realise she was 79 and already in her mid-30s when her iteration of Fleetwood Mac achieved success in the 70s. Always seemed so ageless.

Me too, saw her with Stan Webb in Chickenshack at Newcastle City Hall around 1969. My first concert at the ag of 16.
The Lady, That song will forever stay in my memory. Christine Perfect and perfect she was.

I followed and watched both bands, Peter Green's FM and Chicken Shack in the 60s. Christine's rendition of Rather Go Blind was so much better than Etta James version.
Hopefully now some of the later fans (younger) to the FM band, the 'Songbird' era, will now look back and find the wonderful sounds of the earlier FM when Christine joined in 1969, like Kiln House etc, and not forgetting all the early Chicken Shack stuff.
