First of all a couple of warning comments;

1.) This movie is being released in February in the States which is traditionally the dumping ground for bad movies.

2.) It is directed by Elizabeth Banks who has been responsible for some truly terrible movies. However, from this trailer I think she might have put her personal beliefs onto the back burner.


Anyway, with a warning about NSFW and confirming that yes, it does exactly what it says on the tin, can I present the greatest film trailer of this or possibly any other year.

Screw Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar, this is the film the world needs right now. A bear gets off its tits on gak and starts killing people.

Genius. Can’t wait to see what The Critical Drinker makes of this.

Heard about it a few months ago, watched the trailer this morning. Roll on February next year, looks highly amusing.

It features the best of everything! 'mericans, 80s, coke, guns and a big bear

I think that might be the best trailer I have ever seen.

I'd be amazed if the film turns out to be anything other than "Snakes on a plane"style rubbish.

It is also fitting that has Ray Liiotta's final film was about a cocaine bear hehe

This might be the greatest film of all time.

Sad thing is I have seen numerous description of what really happened, from the dealer throwing a bag out the plane, to him wearing the pack and the chute failing,!

Apparently the bear had a gut full of the stuff, and was later on stuffed and is on display somewhere!!

How on earth this has not made into a film before now is staggering to me!! Considering the endless spiel of rot churned out by people every year!

Opens 24th of this month.

I know its probably going to be terrible but I'm going.

Owing to the positive reaction to that original trailer, its now got a Superbowl half time trailer as well.

Tickets on sale now, going to try and get in on Sunday.

Even there is an embargo on full reviews until tomorrow some of them are beginning to trickle in and most of them are positive & are saying it's exactly what it says it is in that trailer. If you like the idea of a bear off its box on charlie, then this is the movie for you. Very funny and what the trailer doesn't show is how gory it is because according to the reviews I have seen it apparently does not skimp on the blood.

The general opinion so far seems to be just a fun, if violent, night out at the cinema.

Going to see this on Friday afternoon....will probably be terrible rubbish but there's got to be a couple of decent scenes in there. The trailer was epic!

Plus it's Ray Liotta's final film

Saw it yesterday afternoon - it has some very funny moments and does exactly what it says on the tin, all in all much better than I thought it would be.
If you’re looking for subtlety or an examination of the human condition then maybe choose another film though.
