Tag Heuer calibre 16 winding issue

My son kindly gave me his Tag Formula 1 Calibre 16 watch, hardly used. He bought it when he lived in Australia but stopped wearing it as it always seemed to lose time, a minute or two per day.

I started wearing it on a daily basis recently and it seemed to lose a similar amount of time. I wound up the power reserve about a month ago and it started to keep perfect time. However I parked it up for a couple of days whilst I was doing some work on my car. Watch stopped and now winding the power reserve doesn't start the watch up, shaking it gives 10 seconds of life before it stops again.

I notice when shaking the watch that there is a faint tinkling sound from within.

Any ideas on getting it back to life or recommendations for a good watch specialist? I'm in Milton Keynes.

Update: I tried winding the unit once more and it seems to work fine. Until I put it onto my wrist, upon which it stops.

Take it off, give the watch a couple of rotations of the winder and off it goes again.

I can't see its my magnetic personality causing it to stop - very odd.
