Where can I get my elise serviced near Leeds

My lotus is due a service shorty and wondered where is the best lotus approved service centre near to Leeds?

By best I mean cheapest!!

If you're out of warrenty have you considered a specialist?

Would using a specialist downgrade the service history? Dont most people want full lotus service history when I come to selling it on?

If not then do youk no of any specialist service centres around Leeds?

Provided you can get a proper lotus specialist it will not do you any harm at all. It is considered by most that the specialists are better at it than the dealers

I agree. There are lots of specialists all over the country all held in higer regard than the main stealer. Sorry dealer.

when tradng in my old elise, the independent servicing was not a problem , as the sales guy knew the particular company was reputable.

often you will find that independents seem to do a more thorough job anyway

i have never used them but have read alot of good things about horizon. fact that they are also cheap is a bonus

As Paul says (all the way from Malia), drop me an email and I'm sure we can sort something out. Its a bit of a drive but its worth it to get the job done right at a very reasonable cost.

We are two minutes from the Metrocentre so bring your other half and make a day of it.

JCT 600 on the Leeds ring road is the official Lotus Dealer.

Only problems being that :

a). As I only had an Elise S1, staff look down there noses at you.

b). Dont sit next to someone in the waiting area who is younger than you & signing up for a 360 Spider (JCT also has the Ferrari, Maserati & Porsche franchises at the same site).

c). Labour rate had me thinking I was seeking legal advice from lead Counsel.

Would agree with the other posters though, unreasonable to expect an Elise out of warranty to be serviced by a Main Dealer. Go for the one in Huddersfield as previously mentioned.
