Paying in a cheque -2022

I had a car tax refund earlier in the year for £200 odd, had forgotten I had a cheque through but found it again saturday.
Tried to use online barclays banking app to pay it in. Take photo of face of cheque - fine. Take photo of rear of cheque (its just white blank paper) barclays app cant handle that.
Bring cheque into work with idea of paying in at lunchtime somewhere.
Post Office yes we can accept please bring a pre paid cheque paying in form from the back of your cheque book.

2] If Ive got a cheque book its at home somewhere conveniently.
Look up local barclays bank opening times. Local bank to work has closed you will need to go to your nearest branch in outer mongolia.

It's a while since paid in a chq on my Barclays app, but i think you only have to photo the rear if there's something written on it. Try it front only, if that doesn't work, write something on the back, "REFUND" will do.
