Does anyone her know of any tyre shine that can be used, that doesn't leave go faster stripes up the side of your car after you've put it on ???

I've have been using Autoglym instant tyre shine for some time now, but unless i put a very small amount on, and leave it to dry for at least a day or two, then it can be found all up the side of my car after a drive of anything over 50mph !!

Although i do like my black and Yellow combination, this was not what i had in mind !!

Armor all - get the squirty bottle, spray a bit on a sponge, and then wipe the sponge all round the sidewall.

As an alternative to the VS solution, the Zymol tyre wall treatment is good.

Glenn, I use Meguiars Hot Shine Tyre Dressing at the moment although I do recommend Armorall Protectant.

Don't know about the others but you apply the Zymol tyrewall treatment with a cloth, it's not a spray and dry job. Never had any problems after application.

Glenn

Will second TB's comments about the Zymol stuff.
apply with a cloth and buff after a few min. No issues with it going everywhere.
Use it on the black bits on the wife's mini to.
