What colour would you assume diesel to be normally?

I can’t say I have ever really noticed but I am sure it is often blue Ish in colour.

Motorcyclists won’t thank you for brimming the tank that high as it makes roundabouts near petrol stations pretty deadly.

Diesel is usually a light amber like colour.

Looks like a screw cap filling neck - the motorbikists should be fine.

The amber does make sense, I only really see it when I refil my steam cleaner so that’s about once per yr.

The overspill happened at the petrol station not on a roundabout.

Read what he said and have a think about it. Although a modern cap should be pretty tight fitting.

The diesel didn't get spilled on a roundabout and it's not going to spill out when he goes around one either rofl

It’s the super full tank sloshing when you turn on the roundabout. I get that the cap should be secure and the breather should not leak but diesel spills are problems for bikers. The filling station near me is like an ice rink on a wet day as it is on a roundabout. I assume a lot of spills are lorries.

It (the problem) seems to be mainly targeted at lorries ‘ heavy vehicles - due to tank and cap design but:
