Very watchable, Machiavellian stuff.

I'm surprised there isn't already a thread on this, but if you haven't seen it then definitely worth a watch.

There are a lot of 'big' characters in the contestants, some of which I'm finding rather annoying. Having said that I am enjoying the program.

Any clue where to find it?

Is this a ripoff of the mole on channel 5, but where they tell you who is the saboteur, thereby ruining the programme?

This thread has disappointed me.

I was hoping it was some sort of spy thriller series or film that I hadn't heard about.

I think in fairness a little more persistence would have been beneficial *

( * With apologies, I'm currently watching The Crown so I find myself writing the way the royals talk) smile

Nah- my partner liked it so it has been on in the background while I've done other stuff and I still can't stand the sound of it.

I think if I had persisted I would be requiring a new TV !

We are avidly watching and loving The Traitors (BBC1).

What we find is that there is lots for the audience to discuss and predict during an episode but as we know the full story for both sides of the Faithfull/Traitor conflict there is not much to say once the episode has ended.

Just our thoughts.

With a couple of exceptions they all seem a bit unhinged, they all seem to love complete strangers within 2 days of meeting each other and also dont seem to understand its a game

If they had normal people then it wouldn't be a very good show. Mentals make good tv.

Just binge watched the first four episodes.
What!, No judges, no public voting & nobody actually gets murdered... yet.

But yes, really enjoying it so far & it’s just beginning to ramp up.
Don’t normally do these kind of programmes, the only other one I liked was ‘The Circle’.
It’s sort of the Apprentice mashed up with the weakest link.
(It must be the deceit & backstabbing that I enjoy)

I caught snippets whilst other half was watching, looks dreadful, another prime example of dumbing down of TV IMHO, and the presenter needs a couple of lessons on how to do hair and make up biggrin

Comment above sums it up better than me "With a couple of exceptions they all seem a bit unhinged, they all seem to love complete strangers within 2 days of meeting each other and also dont seem to understand its a game"

Same here, I liked that one- a good concept, I thought. Shame it got canned.

Mrs. BF and I are watching it and really enjoying it. Some of the contestants are annoying (either shrieking or crying) but, as said already, quiet/calm people would make rather dull TV.

It's interesting to see the herd mentality in operation, as well as how people can be completely, utterly sure they're right when they aren't.

Plus of course the wonderful Claudia Winkleman hosting the show; a presenter we both really like.

Another thumbs up here as well

It's does evoke a lot of discussion when watching it in company and it's a very difficult one to predict with so many scenarios able to play out.

I would be intrigued to know how much clever editing goes on though as we only see bits of discussion between them all, when they are obviously talking to each other for most of the day.

An interesting concept and an easy way to waste an hour in the evening
