Today at the British Museum kiddo spotted this bank note and wanted to know where it was from. Thanks to its position and that the Perspex was cloudy this is the best I could do to get a photo and couldn’t see any other bits of it.

I’ve now googled for an hour. By some luck can anyone identify it?

You’ve done it! How did I manage to miss that?! Thank you! You’re a star. Complete and utterly didn’t make the connection and looked at the Aussie notes at least twice.

The $50 are called pineapples, due to the colour.
In fact we can thank the Australians for given us (and everyone else) polymer notes.

First time I saw them in 95 I was shocked because they had them and we didn't! (Although IOM did in the past)
