FOC Woodbridge Sprint 21st August
Discussion
Hopefully not too much luck required. I thought I would try an FoC sprint before Vmax so if I achieve a pathetic speed and need to hide for a while, it is not published here but in the anonymity of the FoC website.
Too quote Douglas Adams it is also slightly cheaper! Still saving up to repair damage on way to LM plus some general tlc

It is the Woodbridge in Suffolk but the flyer only says "Woodbridge Airfield is approximately 4 miles from the A12 north east of Ipswich."
I have better address details at home and will post later. BTW I think the event is pre-booked FoC members only, I do not think you are able to turn up and drive on the day. Also I have no idea about spectators. Shall I find out?

I am there tomorrow for Terminal Velocity 2005 - www.tv2005.co.uk
Mike, good to meet you too and co-incidences will happen, I don't know why so many people have lived in/ around Carshalton.
Sandra of the FOC has already sent out the results and i will try and forward to you. I was slightly disappointed with my result [best of 156.24]as it was 5 to 10mph behind the other 355's. No real reason that I know of but it was my debut and maybe fiddling with tyre pressures [to my shame I did not even check them!] would have helped.
Still it was a good day apart from the late decision that no passengers were allowed and the catering was dire. I am now hooked and will probably try the Marham sprint in October and the next Vmax, whenever that is.
