Could anyone kindly remind me when looking at the adjustment knob.. is anti clockwise softer or harder.
I think there are 20 positions in total am on 10 at current.
The fronts feel way too hard and causes significant push on understeer as P Humpries would put it..
Sorry have just forgotten and have to adjust whilst fiddling around from front of car.

Clockwise is stiffer. From memory, there's a definite stop at the 'fully soft' position but not at the other end. So if you want to know where it is, you have to back it right off and count the clicks. Getting at the adjuster while it's on the car might involve working left handed/upside down/back to front/out of sight, so it's quite easy to end up turning it the wrong way by mistake. Hence worth backing it right off to make sure you know where you're starting from.

Once you've found the perfect setting and ready to leave it, it's worth putting grease round the base of the adjuster to stop it corroding, they seize solid quite easily.

What I meant was, unless you're absolutely sure you know what settings the dampers are at, when you're changing them from eg 10 to 12 clicks, start by winding it back to 0 and then wind on 12 clicks, rather than just adding 2 to whatever they were at. Because it's quite easy to accidentally soften it when you think you're hardening it, and vice-versa.

PS know nothing about petrol, I use cooking oil these days ...
