I am definitely going to the Track Day on the Friday, Daz. An old mate is going as well and I hope to meet up with many of the Track Day crew and enjoy a fine Open-Pit lane experience. Hope its Sunny!

As to the Festival days - I'm not yet sure. We might do the Sunday - by just turning up on the day, I think. I haven't got tickets in advance this year...

I'll definitly post again if our plans get firmer.

I will be there with old yella, the 993RSR complete with new 415bhp billet head engine.

I have 4 race test sessions on Saturday, sprint practise Sunday and Sprint timed runs on Monday.

Please do come over and say hello if you see me with the car in the paddock.

I'm doing the track day on the Friday and was thinking of going on Monday.

You can turn up on the day and get tickets if you are member. Just show your membership card and get your discount (0800-1000 only) .

Hope to see some of you there !

Jon

I am definitely going - but only just found out about it as I have been away for a few months. Rang PCGB and they couldn't have been less helpful. you cannot get a discount on the day by showing your membership either - that is one bit he told me with glee. Asked whether they had camping - "Dunno - look on the website". Asked what website - "Dunno, use a search engine". Can I do the parade on the Monday - "Dunno." Where can I book tickets - "Dunno, we sold some a while ago, but you are too late". Hmmm. for all the effort they make in promoting the festival , they really do lack the back up skills here!!

Check this link out:

'Festival tickets at member rates on the day!'

So you should be ok.

Curiouser and curioser. got my wife to ring and they said "categorically not". I then rang and asked about the Parade (again) and was told that you can get a discount at the gate if you show your membership card. Cheers, you just saved me 1 tenner!!

I will be helping out with the charity hop laps on both Sunday and Monday. Will also be supporting Timbo with his sprinting. May also do the track day on the Friday.

Cheers Jonathan

Nope. The Monday is an interesting cross between a club meeting and a race day as far as on track activity is concerned.

Hello, going Sunday looking for a 911 in the cars for sale area. You never know my search, may end there after nearly two years.

So much junk out there, and people still want silly money still all because of the badge on the front of the car.

Who is running the track day on the Friday. IS this through PCGB?

What goes on on the Saturday?

I'm doing the track day in my 996TT and me lady in her Boxster S (should be interesting!)

Also, my TT is in the display area both days (just had the front end re-sprayed for stone chips, so it should be looking good) apart from when I'll be doing parade and flying laps.

Looking forward to it and meeting some of you guys.

Gerry

Daz which days are you going to be there?

GERRY

I'll be travelling up from the SW, so I'm thinking of going on the sunday as the return trip will be a lot easier than on a bank holiday monday.
