Generally the done thing to post at least an excerpt of the article, with a pic or two ideally, rather than just a link. Makes for a better OP.

Especially if you lead with the headline being that Porsche top (bottom?) the table of poor reliability by the warranty company.

Nothing that any Range Rover owner didn't already know.

Just saw the Porsche in your "garage" hehe

Don't worry, my car is on the list as well.

No suprise, if you want a solid reliable car you buy a Honda or Toyota , or perhaps a Kia.
If you just want a so-called "premium" badge you pay through the nose for a badly made piece of crap.

Yet people continue to buy these badge-engineered pieces of rubbish on huge monthly payments....so really we only have ourselves to blame.

Not sure recent Honda owners would agree.

Last week I bought a hammer and a laptop.

The hammer has been working flawlessly, the laptop has been problematic.

"The data represents only cars that are outside their manufacturer warranties, meaning the minimum age for the sample is three years"

So that's the first batch of 992's ?- which isnt a surprise given the amount of pre delivery work that was required on a lot of the cars out of one dealership I know.

And I guess it'll also include all the new engines for the 991.1 GT3 ? - so that'll have sent the costs northwards like one of Elons rockets

Slightly flawed analysis with a mimimum age of 3 years maximum age 10 years.

Everyone knows Porsche have become much more reliable since December 2019.

Subjective but in my experience with my own household, Kia is far far more unreliable than the Porsche.

More fact than subjective but LargeChris' thread making abilities aren't all they're cracked up to be

Do you really think that, or is that just what you wish to be true?

Given that this is used car data surely it is irrelevant without knowing how many warranty’s are sold for the likes of Porsche, Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW and Audi.

Because I strongly suspect they sell a lot more warranty’s for big expensive cars, that amazingly, cost a lot to fix.

I wonder how many warranty’s they sell for Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, etc

It's just what the evidence suggests.

Nice sensationalist headline which has no basis in fact. According to their methodology, you could have ten Hondas with faults that are cheap to fix, and one Porsche with an expensive fix….they claim the later to be the most unreliable……nothing of course to do with them trying to sell owners a warranty package.
