Sound very interesting just a shame it's on Discovery.

It's the side of the story that Bernie wants to tell. We'll have to wait a little longer for people to tell the other real stories about him. Should be interesting nonetheless.

So this will be pretty much 90% lies/false truths and bullst ie the BCE view of the world ( as he see’s it).
For all the good he did for F1 in the 70’s the rest of what he did was just pure greed.

Best way to sum up this evil character is take a look at how his children have done in life, all that motorsport money ending up with those airhead bimbo’s is such a waste!

He is not an evil man, but he is a ruthless, and utterly motivated man who would stop at nothing to get to where he wanted or his business to where he wanted. f1 is what it is now (like or not) because of him largely.

Yes he broke rules, upset people, but tell me a mage achiever i the world that has not, that is WHY they do what they do, they are prepared to walk over anyone to get there, you might not like it, and i do not either, I d not like him at all, but you cannot deny what he did.

Is this documentsry going to cover Bernie's explanation for the Singapore trust which has so upset HMRC? (Hmm must be careful as criminal case pending).

I've just started to watch the series and it's not quite what I expected.

It's appears to be just Bernie commentating on the series of F1 racing. I was hoping for a little more "warts and all" on his life and how he got into and what went on in F1.

I will say, the archive footage is truly remarkable. Essential viewing.

There is a lot of subliminal messaging going on....Did the "I am a of a poisonous dwarf" register with every unnoticed moment of Bernie's tiny on-screen presence? biggrin

I have never , not even once heard this toxic little st say anything in public that wasn't crass, gnomic or idiotic. This was the man who said in 2017 , after the Russian annexation of the Crimea in 2014 ,that Putin should be running Europe. The man who said that immigrants had done nothing for the UK . And the man who said - this last summer FFS - that he would take a bullet for Putin . Be my guest mate....

Not forgetting he also thinks he does not need to pay tax in the UK. Unlike Lewis Hamilton who pays a lot more than some very large international companies.

Is that the same Lewis who lived in Monaco and had some shady tax offset on his private jet?

Why does where Lewis live make any difference? As you should be aware, if you want to comment on tax, it is where he earns it, not where he lives that matters. Lewis pays income tax in multiple countries around the world as well as being in the top 5% of tax payers in the UK. The VAT 'shady tax offset' to do with the jet was a fully legal situation because the jet was owned by a Jersey company, even though he initially 'bought' it. He then rented it when he needed it, just like you rent a car.

You bought it up mate.

What the bloody hell does Lewis paying more tax than Bernie have to do with a Bernie documentary?

I am aware as I also reside and earn in 2 countries smile

Difference between Lewis and Bernie is Lewis has not be placed in the dock by HMRC. Crimbo tax fraud trial set down for Bernie for allegedly failing to declare a mega Singaporean trust fund when under HMRC investigation procedure.

Reminds me of Sir Lester Piggott who went through a HMRC tax investigation and settled the tab with a cheque drawn on his Swiss bank account he forgot to mention before. Stripped of Sir after that.
