User gone including all posts
Discussion
I was just wondering if there's a mechanism to remove all your forum posts since ever?
I was looking for a particular user on here and despite posting until recently, now no longer exists, even all they forum posts for the last 10 years are gone - not just blanked out, but just no longer exist (or are hidden somehow?).
I know it's possible to remove individual posts, but to do all from history would take too long for most.

Apologies. You’re right that it doesn’t get rid of individual posts but it effectively ‘untags’ them from that user and the poster just shows as anonymous, so unless you know a specific post in a specific thread was theirs, you’ll never see their name tagged to a post.
Unless quoted. eein said:
I saw that, but it only talks about removing specific forum posts. The account delete just annons the post but does not remove it.
Maybe the person manually removed all posts. I just found it a bit odd.
You can request that all your history is deleted, and PH does it.Maybe the person manually removed all posts. I just found it a bit odd.
Who were you looking for?
I was looking for a chap who bought my car last year, just being nosy to see if it appeared in any of his posts to see how it was getting on. I think it was user fesuvious. Searching for his username brings up 'ghost posts' where he's quoted, but there's no original earlier in the thread.
