We are looking for a Standard, unmodified, New Model Mustang GT Coupe or Convertible, to verify fitting of our new RSX height and damping rate adjustable suspension kit.
If you would like a brand new (and you will be the first to have one) kit, we will need your car for 1 week maximum.
We are fully insured and we will only do a few miles in order to verify ride characteristics of the kit.
Call us on 01869 244771, quoting (Mustang RSX)

Where are you based? I've just bought an 05 Mustang GT which is currently completely stock which I'm going to have supercharged if that affects anything (the fitting can be delayed). I won't have the car for a few weeks. What does this kit comprise as I have read some concerns about some aftermarket springs not seating properly on the 05.

Obviously when lowering a car, the geometry has to be adjusted and sorted out so how do adjustable height dampers get round that?

The car is intended for fast road use rather than track days so I'm not sure whether this RSX kit would be too competition-oriented.

We are based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
Supercharging should not affect anything.
We will be making a coil-over kit so seating of springs will not be an issue (also you should take the majority of what you read on chat lists with a pinch of salt).

Hi, I have a Mustang GT and I live just up the road in Aylesbury.

I saw this post a while back and have been thinking about whether I would like this done to my car or not...

A few questions then...

What exactly are you guys planning on replacing, the springs, shocks, struts, etc?

If there are any problems with the suspension setup after the car has been done (knocking for instance), are you happy to take the car back and resolve the problem for free?

Roughly how many miles are we talking about for testing?

How much will the car be lowered by?

Lastly, I've heard from forums on the internet that if the car is lowered, an adjustable panhard rod needs to be fitted to the axle as well, because when the car is lowered it forces the axle to move to one side. Have you guys taken this into consideration?

Regards
Darren

Hello,
We are planning to make a damping rate and height adjustable kit (so we will replace springs and dampers).
We stand by our products and will rectify any warranty issues.
Re. the Panhard rod and following the "expert's" logic, if you plan to go on holiday with 2 people in the rear and 250Kg of luggage in the boot, you will need to replace the Panhard rod before you load up and lower the car! Before I comment, we will need to examine the suspension layout, see how much we can lower the car and measure horizontal deflections.
I have read more inaccuracies on chat lists than I care to remember and I would question at least 90% of what is written about car suspension.
Please give Chris a call on 01869 244771 to arrange a visit to the Factory in December, if you are interested in proceeding.
Regards
