Recently bought both front and rear bushes for the diff. Front part number R0063 (marked with white dot) rear R0064 (marked with red dot)both looked identical, checked with the supplier and was informed they came marked from the factory, as to front and rear.
Well car is in having them done, rear is right. The old front bushes had to be pressed out, but replacements just slide into front mounting brackets, and are loose.
External diameter of new to old bushes has a difference of about 35 thou.

Anyone else had a similar problem with this, before I ring the supplier and or factory, or any other tip, other than the bushes being incorrectly marked.

Thanks......SP

You did tell them which diff you had as they have different sub frames and I would guess bushes.

Yes,have the BTR diff, and had the right bushes, apparently difference between front and rear bushes is the rubber compound, they both have identical external diameters.

For those that are interested the GKN diff has different bushes to the BTR.

I was informed that the bushes supplied were fitted by the supplier to various diffs, they were too small for the bush bracket, not significantly, but there was a small degree of play, they need to be tight, or are prone to early failure. Well they were fitted, after slight mods to bracket.

Car is now smoother than ever, the whole diff was loose in its mountings and was obviously causing slight vibration, and no knock from the rear end, when taking foot of accelerator.
