Has anyone ever eaten this stuff? I have been asked to have a go at making a Pilipino dish called beef caldareta and this is a key ingredient. I am wondering if I am going to be faced with a nice pate type smell when I open it or am I going to be vomiting like after opening a can of surstromming?
