Best home charger for EV
Discussion
I have a Tesla being delivered to me in the next couple of weeks and I am looking for some advice on what the best home EV charger is to get. How much they cost to buy and install. Luckily I have a point on the front of my house to wire a charger in so don’t require lots of cable running to my driveway.

There is no real definitive answer, it really depends on your aesthetic taste, desire for app based control, weather proof ness and if you want tethered or not.
Common answers:
Hypervolt
Zappi
Ohme
Andersen has some question over longevity with the business side of things.
My preference is leaning towards the Indra Smart Pro, as it seems to be offered by a few manufacturers.
Some people are so religiously against smart chargers that they recommend getting a 32a commando fitted and a dumber cable.
We’ve got an installed Zappi and an Ohme “granny” charger (as well as a dumb chargemaster one, and the two that came with the Passat at the Model 3 Performance), and the Zappi has the better app and control of the two.
The Ohme is a good 2nd charger for us as it allows for us to limit its use to off-peak charging (Octopus), but the Zappi is better integrated and allows us to use our excess solar energy/hybrid battery system to charge during the day as well.

I've charged my Tesla for the past 2 years from a 32amp commando socket. Never had a problem.
What lead are you using with that? A proper Commando to Type 2 or the Tesla lead with the interchangeable connectors?https://shop.tesla.com/en_gb/product/blue-adapter-...
Is this what you mean?
