Insurance query advice needed svp.

Wife has insured her car on the internet but can’t remember who with .

For some reason she can’t find any emails with the documents/ details , she’s probably deleted them if the truth be known.

We’ve checked through all her emails / trash bin and can’t find anything.

Anyone got any suggestions to help find who she is insured with ?

She presumably paid by card or bank transfer and she should check where her money has gone.

https://www.askmid.com/ You can confirm for free that the car is insured, if you can’t find any details elsewhere you can pay them £10 for the details.

Presuming you never got anything in the post, not all insurers provide this option, so it was likely a broker rather than an insurance company direct.

If you're concerned about renewal, they are still obliged by law to post you a renewal quote even if the initial policy and all subsequent communication has been email / online only.

Panic over , just found an envelope with all the relevant paperwork filed somewhere safe.

Despite saying it had been sent by email , no wonder she couldn’t find it online.
