Hired a Griff 500 for the weekend a few months ago and fell in love with tivs in general. Decided to plump for one and am now the proud new owner of a chim 400(electric blue with blue/magnolia leather). Had her for two months now and am absolutely loving everything about driving her, all the quirks and little idiosyncrasies really make them the best thing on 4 wheels. It's unbelievable how they al have their own personality and mould to your driving style, i bloody love it!
Joined the TVRCC last week and looking to go to a meet fairly soon. I'm in Berkshire region be interested if anyone else from PH goes to the meet at the Swan, Three Mile Cross.
No major problems as yet, but changed plugs and leads last week cos one of the leads had burned against the zorst.... Anyone know where i can get hold of a copy of the bible as i'd love to learn more about playing with the beast.
I might be alone here, but i've also found that she runs better when clean.... Is that me or is she happiest when i've given her a good buffing? Thoughts please....
Finally, just to say thanks people who've posted msgs on PH, pretty much helped me in deciding what to buy and what to look for. Ta.

, Great choice of car - where abouts are you in Berkshire? Am Maidenhead myself and Chimaera owner 1.5 years, joined TVRCC about a year ago and keep meaning to, but have never yet made it to the Swan! I am sure others on here will have and will be along shortly. Who knows maybe I will make it next month. Enjoy the car and get a piccy up on your profile.

Go back in an edit your profile, and there'll be an option to upload a photo. This isn't available when you first create you account for some reason...
As for the bible, www.tvrbooks.co.uk is the place. If you get one of eBay you'll end up paying more for an older edition.

Anyone know how often PH do a gumball across europe and when the next one is? Wouldn't mind getting stuck in as my life was extremely sheltered until i moved down south and bought my chimp.
Oh and a chap on my street drives a green S2, always covers his face in embarrassment when i'm around... Must be the colour....

Looks like you got the profile pic sorted, nice looking car. What wheels do you have on there? Do not look standard, am looking into putting some aftermarket alloys on at the moment so would be interested to know tyre/wheel sizes you have.
Sounds like there may be a few peeps heading to the Swan in September so may well have to get my arse in gear and get down there also.

Prof, the wheels that are on the car are 17" Speedline Corse, running on 215/40 at the front and 225/45 at the rear. Tyres are Toyo Proxes. They were on the car when i got it, been thinking about putting the originals back on but have heard that handling is better with a bigger wheel? I've had no problems with the 17's on. How big were you thinking of going?
