V8 converstion ..?

The V8 and S4 chassis were different to the other S cars. The S4 was a V8 chassis with a V6 engine. As far as I can remember from digesting the bible :burp: the chassis on both these models was made from stronger stuff and the track widened. The RV8 will probablyfit in an S2 (with a bit of bonnet mocification perhaps) but the question remains, if the S1-3 chassis was capable of taking the extra power of the V8, mwhy did TVR change it?
Disclaimer - I am in no way an expert and all I'm really doing is regurgitating info!!

The chassis is different, but I think the V8 will fit under any bonnet. ASAIK the bonnet was actually designed for the supercharged version destined for Italy.
