Your ident plate on bonnet slam panel will state the paint code number/letter and any reputable paint shop will mix the correct shade!

When I used the paint code under the beonnet I got mixed reaction. The paint reference found on the manufactures web site also provided mix details.

Have you got any pictures of the scratch. How deep is it?

I have had some scratches (Impulse Blue Metalic)caused by washing (grit in mit) they showed white aginst the blue. I used a fine rubbing compound (very carefuly and then polished over and they are gone.
If you get some pics I'm sure Booster will be able to help, you should see his paintwork!

I would never touch up paint. You'll only make it look worse. Get it done properly by a pro. For £60-£80 they can remove a chip or scratch to within 80% of original and believe me that is a LOT better than the botch job you will make of it.

Yeah a chip maybe with touchup, but a scratch will look most henious.
