G30 remove "M body kit” (side skirts etc)?

There’s a M550i in almost perfect spec here on autotrader but it comes with „M body kit” i.e. side skirts and front splitter in particular.
As I’m looking at M550 because M5 looks too aggressive, I’d consider removing it.

Is it a simple job of unclip a few plastic bits? Or would a dealership have to do it, and have parts ordered, etc?

Tbh I think that looks quite smart - better than the gash kit on the pre LCI cars.

they are generally expensive but with such an expensive car you cant just take it anywhere

Those are M Performance add ons, which come "on top" of the regular M550i M-sport body kit.

Don't like it either, just like tinted windows, running boards on SUV's, etc.etc.

I suspect most of it will be held on with double sided tape. Heat gun and lots of adhesive remover should suffice.
