I fear this will be a short-lived thread. I think this is the first year that there hasn't been some comments, and I suppose shows how tastes in viewing matter have changed.

It was mainly forgettable.

Cirque du Soleil..you could see the safety line so little danger for the high act performer. Just a bit of balancing really once you realise that.
Some Iranian comedian making jokes about Iran. Really? Would a few Irish jokes be allowed? What's Iran got to do with our daily lives sort from supplying Russia with military aid? How did such steotypical jokes be allowed in a woke society.
Female comedian and stag do with inflatable penis? Do I really want to listen to this level of humour for Royal Varieties?
Some winner of BGT. Was that it? Did they win BGT with that routine?
Sam whatshisface singing. Ok
Three Lionesses..fairly good rework.

Did i see Omid Djalili bow the wrong direction for the royal couple?

Even Al Murray was poor and that disappointed me. Lloyd Webber looks even more like a Cabbage Patch doll, the Three Lions song has been done to death, the soprano was good but can't match Callas, Do people really visit the West End to watch a show about NY newspaper boys strike ?

Rita Wilson and Gregory Porter were the highlight. I think the show needs euthanasia.
