Paynes chocolate coated brazil nuts are an Xmas favourite of my mother. However this appears to be out of stock or unavailable from the usual supermarkets.
Anyone know from where I can buy a couple of boxes?

As an aside, who remembers the small tins of thick Cadbury chocolate coated brazils, almonds and hazelnuts, available in the 1970s?

Thanks for replies. I visited the local Morrisons but no Paynes or own brand chocolate brazils.

I found some in a nearby village shop. They were being sold loose out of a large sweet jar, 1.49/100g.

I make my own, dead simple, Aldi whole brazils, a couple of packs of Greene and Blacks organic chocolate milk and plain chocolate. Break the chocolate up in a microwaveable bowl, microwave for a couple of minutes then mix in the brazils. It's a bit of a faff but putting them on a silicone mould then in the fridge.
You'll never bother to buy any again once you've made them. I make them all the time. cover them in cocoa dust to stop them getting all over you.
