Does anyone know please how to correctly remove these covers? Apart from the obvious guess of using a torx bit and twisting it. But, to save you counting, it's a nine-pointer and I don't have a 9-point torx bit!

Don't they just pull off?

Should be a little hook tool made of bent wire in with the jack etc

They just pull off. Stick something in the hole and hook it off.

There should even be a tool for the job with the jack etc, unless it's not been put back by a previous owner

Yeah, put a little hook through the centre of them, pull like crazy, and then throw the plastic rubbish as far away as possible.
Bloody junk idea.

Ok, thank you, I'll give it a go. But I can't see anything in the toolkit, maybe it easily gets lost.

I think they’re quite good - it’s a slight faff to get them all off but better than looking at rusty wheel bolts.

The SEAT version is much worse - needs a tool like a pair of tweezers which is awkward to use and daughter’s SEAT came without it, but instead included the VW hook. The SEAT ones work loose too - we’ve lost a couple. They grip on the wheel nut rather than on the wheel itself as the VW ones do.
