What new daily saloon?

Currently own a E46 M3 which has been my ‘daily’ for the past 7 years. I say ‘daily’ because it’s my only car but I don’t drive it daily, maybe a few times a week. With it being a coupe, manual and lowered it can get a bit jarring on trips or when transporting family.
I’m going to be keeping the M3 but I’m after something a bit more modern and a saloon of some sort. My requirements are <£25k, saloon, auto, fairly comfortable, not a barge. Oh and also V8 if possible…
I am considering the obvious options of a E90 M3 or a W204 C63. C63 would be my first choice out of these 2 but nice facelifts are fetching towards £30k.
